Meredith Ouzounian has one goal as a professional chef: cultivate an experience that transcends what she puts on the table. Born and raised in Los Angeles, her culinary passions became present at a very young age. Her family put an emphasis on every meal of the day; no detail was overlooked and no meal was too small to plan or obsess over. The daily curation of new flavors and experiences guided her from the kitchen at home to The Culinary Institute of America in Saint Helena, California. In her term at the institute, she shadowed some of the top talents in the United States culinary scene. But it wasn’t the traditional education which was Meredith’s biggest asset, it was her utilization of locally sourced foods from the Californian coast which garnered the attention of appetites everywhere. Re-imagining dishes and focusing on the smallest of details separated her creations from the rest. Soon, rumor spread of Meredith’s talents and her exclusive hosted dinner parties were the hottest tickets around.“I feel so fortunate to have been spoiled by all of California’s bounty after spending most my life and career in both Northern and Southern climates and communities. My gratitude expands more now that love has brought me to Indialantic, Florida.” - Meredith explains. “My hope is to continue to share my passion with as many curious appetites as possible in my lifetime, as I travel and learn around the world. My culinary knowledge will only expand as long as I continue to explore.
