The Fourth Annual Loggerhead Classic

Costa Tequila Ambassador Justin Quintal’s 4th Annual Loggerhead Classic will go down as one of the best East Coast surfing contests of all time.

An assortment of the finest male & female longboard surfers converged at the Jacksonville Beach Pier in hopes to take home the 2022 title, and what a hotly contested year it was. The Atlantic ocean delivered truly epic waves for this year’s competitors, where every heat saw standout performances and excellent scores. Saxon Wilson’s perfect barrel in the final, and Kat Neff’s stylish command of the lineup that saw them rise to the top of the field, each taking home first place trophies in the mens and women’s divisions.

“Wow. What a freakin weekend! My heart is so full. I laughed, cried tears of joy, and hollered till my lungs gave out. I can’t believe how unbelievably blessed we are on the East Coast to have such an amazing community of long boarders, musicians, artists and just genuinely beautiful and amazing people. I just connect the dots, it’s everyone that shows up and gives a piece of themselves that make the Loggerhead so special. I saw so much shredding go down this past Saturday, it was incredible to watch everyone do their thing! I want to say congratulations to @saxon___wilson & @katneff on taking the win! And to everyone that was a part of it thank you from the bottom of my heart!” - Justin Quintal

We will see you all next year for another edition of The Loggerhead Classic.
