To say that Capt. Sam Atwell knows the waters of the Indian River Lagoon like the back of his hand would be an understatement. 

The Vero Beach native started fishing the intercoastal waterways at an early age, and his knowledge of the various inshore and offshore ecosystems established him as one of the premiere fishing guides in the Treasure Coast region. 

    His fishing skills are not to be outmatched by his charm. Sam is also an on air personality as a TV host on the Sportsman Channel with his own fishing show. When he’s not chasing for fish on the water, Sam is a proud family man and father to two young girls.

At Costa Tequila, we're always chasing the sun, and we support individuals who embody this pursuit. Sam embodies the Costa energy, and we’re proud to team up with him while he captains his beautiful 27’ Pathfinder.

 Sam is out most days of the week heading out to his local fisheries, so be sure to keep an eye out for us on your next day on the water and we may just have a surprise on board for you!
