One can easily spend a lifetime chasing swells across the globe, and never catch their interpretation of ‘the perfect wave’. The insatiable desire that burns deep inside every surfer is why they do it, and is never guaranteed.

Fortunately for Costa Tequila Ambassador Justin Quintal, his surf dreams came true yesterday. He caught that wave, the one he’s been looking for his entire life, at one the most iconic big wave spots in the world: Pipeline.

What many in the surf world are claiming as “The Wave of the Winter”, Justin was humbly stoked to experience something so rare. “Riding a beautiful 8’5 @joshua_keogh_ Haz Gun. So cool to talk about this board with someone halfway across the world with the same vision in mind and see it all come together.
