Winter doesn’t end for professional snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington. Her passions lie in the perpetual chase of perfect alpine storms to ride. And as the summer season lingers in the Northern Hemisphere, one must get creative with locales in order to ride, and trust us, these aren’t close to home.

Recently, Kaitlyn saw a storm system headed to the Andes Mountains in South America, and it was nothing short of a dream.
”I can't express how much I love going back to Argentina!” Kaitlin exclaims. “It truly feels like going to visit my extended family. This time, luck was on my side as the storm decided to join me as soon as I arrived. And let me tell you, it was an absolute pleasure! For two incredible weeks, I had the time of my life riding and hanging out with both old and new friends. It's always a gamble when it comes to weather conditions, but this year turned out to be amazing.
One of the things that makes this trip so special is the opportunity to work and travel in Argentina every year. It's truly a treat to be able to combine my passion for snowboarding with exploring this beautiful country. From the stunning landscapes to the vibrant culture, there's never a dull moment, sharing incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it's bonding with fellow riders over Asodo dinners, conquering challenging slopes, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views, there's something magical about this place.
